Questions, answered

Before we start.

How do I request a fabric sample?

Use the enquiry form or email sales@fagotextile.com. Include the fabric structure, composition, target weight and intended garment. Sampling arrangements are confirmed for each project.

What is your minimum order quantity?

Minimum order quantities depend on the fabric construction, composition, colour and finish. Share your required quantity for a project-specific quotation.

Can you develop fabric to my specification?

Share a reference fabric or a technical brief. We can discuss the required composition, weight, width, colour and finish before confirming feasibility.

Do you work with international buyers?

Yes. Include your destination and preferred delivery terms in your enquiry so these can be considered in the proposal.

Before you confirm your fabric order.

Choosing a knitted fabric manufacturer starts with a production brief that your buying, technical and garment teams can all use. Tell us which fabric is approved, which details are still open and whether you need a development sample or a quotation against a fixed specification. This helps separate sampling work from the bulk order you are ready to place. For repeat purchasing, include the expected release schedule as well as the first shipment. We review construction, composition, colour requirements and delivery scope together so your enquiry can move towards a comparable, order-specific offer.

For testing terminology, consult the AATCC testing and standards resources. Agree the actual methods and acceptance criteria for your fabric with the supplier.

Choosing your knitted fabric manufacturer

An export buying programme needs more than a fabric name. Identify the article reference, expected garment performance and the quantity required for each colour. If you are comparing proposals from more than one knitted fabric manufacturer, ask each supplier to quote against the same finished weight, usable width, composition and delivery scope. This makes differences in the proposals easier to assess.

What should your manufacturing brief include?

Ask your knitted fabric manufacturer to distinguish sample development, production approval and shipment release. Keep the approved fabric reference with any agreed changes to colour, finish or packing. For recurring orders, identify the first confirmed release separately from your longer-term forecast. Fago Textile welcomes enquiries from garment factories, importers and wholesalers planning these purchasing programmes.
